There must have been some magic,
That I know for sure.
Cause these things simply don’t happen
Just because they can.
I would know,
I saw it all happen,
With my own two eyes.
A carrot nose sniffling in the cold,
Acorn mouth twitching at the corners,
Stiff stick fingers furling and unfurling,
Loose buttons, holding on for dear life.
But what caught my eye was the cold coal eyes,
So still yet so filled with life.
Overwhelming emotions filled the darkness in his eyes.
Emotions never felt before.
He looked lost in his own world,
Lost inside of his own frozen mind.
