And once the days of Thanksgiving are here
the bells are rung, with joy and cheer.
Families flock for dinner feast
With everyone eating full, at least.
A turkey’s served,
next comes pie;
stuffed meat with cranberry sauce arrive.
Talk followed up with laughter;
Catching up with each other,
the happy families chatter;
At full moon’s rise,
with bellies stuffed full;
Off in their cars,
out the visitors roll.
